redditWas wondering what most players think of shields on troops?

Hi guys I was just thinking of how they ruined guards with arrows, considering that the whole point of the shield was originally to be spell proof.

So I was wondering to maybe make a shield troop more viable now would it be a good idea to consider a shield like a troop. Example if you have a shield troop but once the shield is gone the targeting troop or tower would redirect to the closest troop to it. Like if you had guards charging a tower and played miner making the tower redirect to the miner once a shield is gone.

Or would something like that be way too overpowered?

I would appreciate anyone's opinion on this thanks guys.
