Clash Royale has always been trying to standardize Troop mechanics across all cards.

Standardizing same troops to share the same stats.

Recent nerf to Mustetkeer indirectly nerfed 3 Musketeers [simply because they are musketeers].

Goblins, Goblin Barrel, and Goblins from gang all have the same stats.

Spear Goblins, Spear Goblins from Gang/Hut/Goblin Giant all have the same stats.

They are all standardized if they are the same troop.

Royal Hogs target and attack buildings but Hog Rider attacks and the Hog just stays there... with its face against the building... a bit awkward... did our Hog Rider get a pacifist for a hog? Talk about bad luck.

Some people don't like hog rider...

"it's balanced"

"it's already overpowered" - Some players...

"we don't need something to be fixed if it ain't broken"

or maybe...

"It's not the same hog."

I get many people may not like the idea... but it's their model. You can see many consistencies between cards.

Although this would be a rework it would stay consistent with their standardized model for card balances and mechanics.
