  7. Guys, hello there, we should debunk some CR myths that I always hear on YouTube and everywhere, don't you think? Today I'll explain why in mid-ladder you probably want to adjust your deck to specific cards, that simply said, abound and plague that trophy ranges… Let's illustrate it with some usage % from royaleAPI: Top usage in general Ladder (not top Ladder) You see hog as the first win condition used in ladder? So you NEED to have answers to hog, ALWAYS, even TWO good responses to it: as fast cycles start to appear in mid-high ladder too. See Valk and Wizard in the TOP11 cards? Good luck changing your win condition to royal hogs, as you can find many decks with BOTH cards in it. Hard to pass with your lovely piglets right? Same can be said about some baity decks. Prevalence of Valks AND Wizards makes some bait decks less effective in mid-ladder too. Why can pro players beat mid-ladder decks with META decks then? 1st, they are facing less skilled players and boy, you notice… they even know how to defend a giant with a wizard and a minipekka behind. (I would lose 9 out of 10 against that push for sure). 2nd, they usually employ fast cycle decks and punish the other lane "fast&furiosly". Many mid-ladder decks are quite heavy, I'd say 3.7 could be an average there. 3rd, they are patient and know how to defend in their own side or the arena. Counting elixir and knowing cycles perfectly also helps ;) So, unless you're really skilled… if you're in mid-ladder, or facing mid-ladder players that love those cards, just adapt your deck and start to win like crazy! When you're up enough in trophies or face better players (and you'll know quite fast when it is, believe me) that'll be the moment to adapt with a real META deck. What other myths have you heard aroud CR that need some demistifying? submitted by /u/wolfynn [link] [comments] View the full article

  11. So Royal Delivery right now is dominating the meta. One of the highest used cards, it is so many deck. Hog rider, Graveyard, Giant, Royal Hogs, and wall breakers. It's a poor man's mega Knight. It can clear out troops in 1 drop and can always hit multiple troops if you want it to. But why always? Well that's what we're gonna talk about. So Royal Delivery is used like fireball, but is limited to your side and spawns a recruit. It does more damage than arrows but less than fireball. It also has a pretty big radius. As big as freeze. But you might be thinking. "So it's as big a freeze, but it's limited to 1 side and is slow in deployment. Why can people hit alot of stuff with it constantly?" Well, the bridge helps it out. Let me explain. So your side and the opponents side is very wide. Like extremely wide. But the bridge is really small. Like about 2-3 tiles wide. So no matter what you do, they'll all have to cross the bridge. And what happens when 2 things cross the bridge? They get clustered no matter what. Except if the speed difference of the troops is vastly different and the very fast troop doesn't get stuck behind the slow troop. If it does, well of course they're gonna get grouped together. "But what if the unit is flying? They don't have to cross the bridge." Well technically they do. It's just not the bridges on the ground. For air troops , there is 3 bridges. How? Because the Pathfinder of many air troops go through these 3 spots. One in the middle, and the other right beside the bridge on either side. Yeah the "bridges" are wide, but remember, the radius of Royal Delivery is big too. Big as freeze. So it's still gonna hit all of them. The bridge forces troops to cluster up unless the speed difference is big. So you're always gonna hit a bunch of troops. Now you might say, "You can do the same with fireball." True, but it costs 1 more elixer, doesn't kill everything, and is not that big. Poison kills everything, but it's too slow at doing that. Rocket also kills everything, but again, the radius is incredibly small and expensive. Royal Delivery is only 3 elixer, provides a troop, can kill alot of things quick, and it has a huge radius. Yeah the deploy time is slow, but you can just use any troop to stall them. This might be the reason why Royal Delivery is super strong. Yeah it's damage is also insane, and the knockback is ridiculous, but you can't really avoid it since the bridge is gonna cluster up everything. It's only a theory though. It's not definite and probably not correct, but it's just a thought. submitted by /u/Asdfhuk [link] [comments]View the full article

  14. I haven’t played in a while but after reading the subreddit it’s like any card that approaches a 50% winrate is automatically “broken” and needs to be nerfed. I’m no pro but if you need everything then the game become very stale. Also they nerf cards I never see in my rank but they haven’t touched cards like the wizard or valk etc and that’s all I see. submitted by /u/Badbish6969692000 [link] [comments]View the full article
