  5. Hey guys, This is just a quick one but I wanted to let you know what we've been doing with your feedback. First of all, we can see that a lot of people here are not happy with Clan Wars 2. We genuinely believed (and still do) that Clan Wars 2 has the potential to be GREAT, but we have clearly missed the mark for a lot of players. Because of this feedback we will be focusing our next update on making Clan Wars 2 better than it is right now. I want to let you know that your voices have been heard and that yesterday we went back to the drawing board as a team to set up a roadmap for our next u

  7. I’m in the customer service industry(in a way most people are). Though my job is very different from dealing with software like the dev team, I do deal with fixing problems and making people happy. These are things that this team needs badly right now. That being said, the simplest thing to do in this situation is sometimes the hardest. To admit you’re wrong and apologize. It let’s people know you care about what you did and you’re going to put in an effort to change it. It’s not hard to see that people are not happy. I’m on the side of the disgruntled as I’m not happy about the update or tim
  8. We we're a healthy 40/45 people Clan, competing at war, getting #1 chest each season in Legendary Leage. We were a bunch of casuals enjoying the game and playing ladder, we never we're in the global top but managed to enter the local 1000 Clan both in trophies and war. We took some bad decisions time ago: because we were almost full and decided to create a secondary Clan. Some of our members took the opportunity to create their own small kingdom and never wanted back, though there was no bad ill neither. They never managed to play wars consistently but hey, could play some of them and even w
  9. (Added an addendum to this repost for the mods) No, seriously! In fact, it's so impressive that I just wouldn't have believed that it was possible. We're in the software industry, so clearly the lock-down situation barely has any impact on us. (At least, for well managed teams...) Yet, it took you guys so long to literally push out a heavy downgrade 'update' to your game. So many serious bugs, I've lost track. Replaced a hated system with an even worst one. (Quite impressive in itself!) Took months and months to release it. Haven't added any QoL changes. Still haven't fixed old problems

  12. [EFFORT REPOST] Based of the suggestions that you guys have in the last post, I have compiled them and made it as easy to understand as possible. This is for the future of Clash Royale, and hopefully some of it will be taken into consideration. My post last time here was just a rant on how the update basically is killing the game itself. The team this time has proven themselves to be very incompetent, and has shown that they don’t give a single fuck about the game and it’s development. Another thing that they have so gladly proven is their commitment to the community which was zero, but now h
  13. Once again we have a highly underwhelming, buggy, poorly thought out update with cringe UI changes from the CR dev team and Drew’s latest post gives the but we are a small team (who all really love the game) excuse again. SUPERCELL is a $10 billion company (valued 2016 in Tencent acquisition) with around 323 employees and a 2019 revenue of $1.56 billion. It is different from other companies in that the dev teams don’t have a boss and this is exactly what Drew points to in his recent reply: https://www.reddit.com/r/ClashRoyale/comments/imncdt/we_should_not_be_attacking_drew_something_is_very/

The team this time has proven themselves to be very incompetent, and has shown that they don’t give a single fuck about the game and it’s development. Another thing that they have so gladly proven is their commitment to the community which was zero, but now has gone to the negative side. What is wrong with the new update? The removal of quests. The promise of ‘improved rewards’ that was not delivered to the players. No new content for the players who are already maxed aka the pros of the communi
  15. Reading Drew's responses it's become clear they don't really give a shit about us. Yes I will say some of the comments give harsh criticism; however, reading Drew's condescending/sarcastic comments back really shows no level of professionalism Yes for all we know some 12 year old wrote something but the CR team seems to take no level of professionalism to address our concerns. They have their own motives and business plan and you can't fault any business for that however we have reached the breaking point! I'll end off by saying, go look at other communities like COC and Brawlstars, the onl
  16. I really love the fact that they have been "planning" the biggest update ever for 1 over year that they have been teasing to only focus on CW2.0. They have totally used CW2.0 to forgo the other updates. Like how deceptive and shady this is LOL Really SuperCell I feel Clash Royale will be the one game that actually ruined the reputation of SuperCell, dragging awesome games like Clash of Clans and Brawl Stars down because of Clash Royale's Dev Team LOLLLL What a joke submitted by /u/reviveclashroyale [link] [comments]View the full article
  17. Instead of working on the update behind curtains, i feel like it would be a lot better if they created an update with the players and get feedback along the way. At least that way we know what we want and what we are going to get rather than the Dev Team trying to "surprise" us with a great update. They don't have to add useless things that nobody asked for and can just add what we, the players, believe is good for the game. It might not be a surprise for players who just log into the game on update day and discover all the new features themselves. But it will still feel really good to final

  19. Red flag after red flag tells me that there's some kind of critical issue with how the Clash Royale team is operating on a day-to-day basis. I know there's a lot of frustration right now, particularly with Drew, but I strongly doubt that Drew is the direct source of any of our woes at the moment. Here's what we know: The recent update's release date Month after month they kept pushing back release date expectations. Then finally, in August, they starting saying that the update was "coming THIS MONTH!" All the memes predicted that the update would land on the 31st of August, which the team ref
  20. Being a software engineer, I know that we literally try to handle all the corner edge cases(exceptions), so that the functionalities do not break. And we find out any missed bugs/issues through rigorous testing teams( aka as QA teams). But have to admit the fact that, this update was so poorly designed and tested, so many bugs and drawbacks related to gameplay : 1. No level cap on leagues, under levelled players are getting wrecked no matter how good their gameplay 2. Clan battles are totally level dependent, even if you win, you earn less fame based on card levels. 3. Clans completing fame wi
