  3. Submitted By: Soul Crusher Watch Now: We went LATE GAME // Bloons TD Battles!!!
  4. As we wait for the update, here are a few ideas for new game modes to spice things up bit: Ah $ht, a Bat!: Bats fly out of a tower as it is attacked. The more damage done, the more bats. (Note: It would be great if SuperCell could change the bats to bees, give us a hive tower skin, and change this mode to “Bees, the Bees, They’re everywhere!” but I don’t want to ask for too much.) Witches be Trippin’: Witches spawn in various areas of the arena but instead of attacking, they just spawn bats/skeletons and yell at the other troops about all of the things they aren’t doing with their lives, how they should get off the couch and find a job, and other things that trippin’ witches yell about. River Monsters: Giant fish appear from the river and drag your troops in like toddlers who ventured too close to shore. Bonus: Fisherman is actually able to catch these beasts, clean them with knight’s sword, and use fire spirits to cook them right in the arena. (Note: I’m a big fan of the show “River Monsters” with Jeremy Wade and envision him doing a play-by-play of every match, giving scientific facts about the fish as they appear.) Frozen, Elsa’s Revenge: It’s suddenly winter and the entire arena is under a snowball-like slowing effect making troop placement and interactions appear to occur in slow motion. The ground is also ice making troops movement unpredictable as they slip, slide, and get pushed by other troops/spells. Ice wizard can actually slow troops down so much that they go back in time and relive some of their worst life decisions. (Warning: block off your calendar if you intend to play this mode as matches could take up to 14 years, especially if any of your troops need to leave the arena for therapy.) I Ain’t Sayin’ She a Gold Digger: All female troops can burrow underground like miner while still retaining their original attributes. When you lose in this game mode you end up with an empty bank account and a prescription for penicillin. Living High on the Hog: Hog Rider is now a flying troop! The downside...he is actually high and may attack his own tower in the confusion. That, and he will likely be distracted by fighting off bats that don’t actually exist. Mirror, Mirror: A true mirror battle where everything you place is reversed in the arena as if you were playing in a mirror reflection of the game. If looking in a mirror is typically ugly for you, this will only make things worse. Nope, Not Today: Princess towers are armed with a stationary Sparky in addition to Princess. Oh hey look, a counterpu...NOPE! Barrels of Fun: All troops are in barrel form and your opponent won’t know which counter to play until the barrel lands. (Note: Troops will still have their normal drop zones so you can forget your giant skeleton/mirror/clone barrel directly to the king tower plans.) TLDR: A bunch of game modes that I can only hope get developed soon. submitted by /u/esnydes [link] [comments]View the full article
  5. Reposting a comment so five more people can see this and disagree on everything While I believe that every damage spell (except The Log) will still be viable, I think the spell nerfs have shown something more important: The devs don't understand their game. Not mentioning how there is actually only one deck that actively features spell cycle(3.5 IceBow), the only reason why spell cycling is a thing is because of the horrendous meta. It has been the same issue ever since people started complaining about Miner, many just don't seem to realize all the IceWiz + Nado, Knight, Musketeer, Royal Delivery and Barbarian Hut rampaging in the game might have been responsible for something. Maybe, just maybe, the meta might have become a bit too defensive? Just in case you think that wasn't defensive enough, don't forget Hunter, Fisherman, Bomb Tower, Tesla, also Bowler and Royal Recruits getting buffed next patch. Here's the question: How are you supposed to break through all of that? Trick question, you don't People love to complain about Hog Rider and Golem all the time, but the truth is none of those cards had been in a viable state within competitive play for months. It has now become a constant struggle to use any win condition that needs to cross the bridge. The only reliable way to actually get damage in this meta is to appear right next to the tower. With every conventional way of offense being hard countered, the only way to actually get damage is by using uncounterable strategies. After all, no BarbHut, Knight, Musketeer, Royal Delivery combo is gonna stop a Fireball from raining down on towers. Ironically, when every push can be stopped so easily, throwing spells on tower every once in a while doesn't seem like such a bad idea anymore. However, the laughable truth is that the devs seem to believe that losing your tower to Fireball is way worse than having your 20+ elixir push stopped by something half its cost. With all that talk about preferring offensive gameplay, the devs sure have no problem nerfing win conditions over and over again while keeping defensive cards stronger than ever. I genuinely fear for Graveyard, with Miner and Spell Cycle getting absolutely diced, it might be the only viable win condition left in the game. Tragically, some in the community, as blind as they are, have started to call for nerfs. Judging by how it has been like, the devs might actually agree with them. Dear Devs: How many cards do you have to kill before you finally realise what the real problem is? How long do you have to continue this suffering? How is all of this happening? How? thanks for reading submitted by /u/Jake_Rowley [link] [comments]View the full article

  8. Headline says it all. If you continue to spend money & buy the season pass it means that you vote to continue the current stage of support and development of the game. As a consumer the only way you can “vote” and express your opinion is with the money you spend. Stop spending and they will notice. Continue to pay and they will think “People just complain, because that’s what they do” Source: I work as a Product Manager(person who prioritizes features) at <Tech company>. submitted by /u/TheKingIsBackYo [link] [comments]View the full article
  9. Win a game, they spam "good luck". Lose a game, they spam "thanks", goblin emotes and yawning princess. Is it the average age of the players or what? submitted by /u/Sunstrider92 [link] [comments]View the full article

  11. If you are a normal player like me stuck in the depths of 5.2k - 5.5k range for eternity KT 12 and 12 deck with maybe only 1 card max. Usually rule of the thumb is to start climbing near the end of season but this is absolutely not true anymore. There's so many people who enjoy to sit at this range and abuse, yes abuse mentally their foes. I've already posted similar comments before but I'll say once again, let's see these so called "pro esports" players play at mid ladder for once. I'd like to see how they will handle the absurdity of facing maxed out 15+ cards most people play at this range constantly regardless of stage of season, these garbage players don't ever climb higher, their entire purpose of playing is to get that thrill of steamrolling lower levelled players. Before I end this rant, if you are in same boat as me ask yourself if this game is still worth playing. I would never recommend someone new to start playing this because it is simply impossible and I'm someone who's been playing for almost 3 years I have only zap maxed so how long would it take a beginner to reach this, 6 years, more? Also, people on this sub usually shut down all arguments made against most used cards because they look at statistics and say things like "X and Z card is rarely used at 6k+". The game doesn't revolve around 6k+, there's more of us stuck lower and stats you copied from some website don't mean shit. Someone should reverse engineer this game to confirm once and for all that mid ladder is most difficult stage of this game. With this being said, I don't even know why I bothered to write this as these kind of threads are frowned upon around here but all I'm gonna say is quit while you still can and never look back, it's just not worth your time and nerves, regards. submitted by /u/3nemy_ [link] [comments]View the full article

  14. You have your normal 8 card deck but you had an additional slot for a non-spawner building and a slot for a spell. Instead of costing elixer and being cycled, they are always available to play but have a cool down time. Maybe something like 2 elixer = 20 sec cool down, 6 = 1 min? submitted by /u/oZephyr [link] [comments]View the full article
  15. I wish we get more of this mode in Party and in Challenges for rewards. Removes all the luck elements and puts players on equal footing. Fewer heavy spells removes an overly defensive aspect and promotes a reliance on troops. Unorthodox but overall balanced decks/deck randomiser. Promotes use of low popularity cards. Mirror adds a layer of trickery in there. Straight up become my favourite game mode after Draft. submitted by /u/brandyeyecandy [link] [comments]View the full article
