When TESTING boat battles the troops will not spawn until you attack that specific tower. Example: When pushing the left side only, no troops will spawn from the right tower. I played many practice games to prepare for my actual war battle. When I went into my war boat battle I was under the premises that no troops would spawn from the tower unless I attacked it. My GOD was I wrong. I got completely destroyed as I pushed all left and cards randomly started coming from the right tower. Edit: Forgot to add this in the title but Co Leaders should be able to do this as well. The reason why I say this is because if you’re a clan with high and low levelled players, chances are some low levelled players are gonna add a defence, no matter how many times you tell them not to. This would be really useful as then the clan’s higher levelled members will have defences. As an example, a player in my clan added a defence with some level 1 cards, when he have many level 12/13 players who could and should take their place. For anyone wondering how boat battles work or someone who wants to know more advanced stats about them: this is the post for you. I've listed out 10 important observations I have made while playing boat battles so far. I hope this helps you understand them or even find a way to exploit these mechanics. This is ridiculous. Why would they change what was meant to be well balanced for players of all players and non-paying players a now heavily benefiting pay-to-win mechanic with defense being card levels? That absurd. The attacking king tower is not going to be able to attack and stop a guaranteed level 13 mega knight. That is insane. This update overall had good intentions but the entire update favors paying-to-win. I'm blown away. Hey guys! Hope you are enjoying the new clan wars and the new update. Here is what I’ve found out about boat battles. I’ve separated it into sections. SECTION I: Is It Worth Using Up a Deck? Yes! Boat battling with the intention to destroy an enemy clan boat will increase your clan’s fame while slowing the enemy clan down if you destroy their boat. In addition, if an enemy clan boat is destroyed, whatever fame they might have gained for the day has to go towards repairing the boat instead.
