  1. I intend this post to be a discussion. As the title states, I do not understand the place of the elixir golem in this game. Supercell has previously said that they are against slow, defensive metas. I get that. I'm personally a mortar player and even I don't want a buildings dominated meta. The point of the game is to have fun and be competitive. But if you are against slow defensive metas, you should also be against brain dead aggression. When supercell announced the elixir golem, they said it would usher in an entirely new archetype. True, it ushered in the archetype of brain dead fuckwar
